dallas guitar show 042107 231.jpgLast weekend, the Dallas International Guitar Festival celebrated it's thirtieth anniversary. The guitar fans who experienced the three day guitar extravaganza were treated to thousands of vintage, exotic, custom shop, and historic guitars to play, gaze and drool over. Not to mention the live stages that showcased some 60+ of the best guitar talents on the planet - Eric Johnson, Johnny Highland, Johnny A, Joe Bonamassa, Dan Toler, Gary Hoey, Monte Montgomery, and on and on.

Attendees also had the rare opportunity to view the Holy Grail Guitar Exhibit, sponsored by Paul Reed Smith, which included the once-of-a-lifetime look at the rare and vintage guitars and private collections that were assembled for the first time under one roof. Eric Clapton’s "Blackie," the most expensive guitar ever auctioned, Clapton's Gibson ES 335 from Cream, the first Telecaster ever made, Leo Fender and Gibson's original patent drawings, the 1936 D45s first Jumbo Martin Guitar valued at $500,000, Jimi Hendrix's Strat, guitars from Santana, Stevie Ray Vaughan's "Lenny" and his signature black hat, and Pete Townshend's "Flying V."

For all of you who were unable to attend the show, Guitar Jam Daily was there and captured over 500 pictures of the unique and beautiful sights of this incredible event. And for those of you who had the privilege of attending the show, this is your chance to take another walk through the exhibit floor, the stages and the Holy Grail Exhibit.
