The Dallas International Guitar Festival and MusicFest is the world's largest and oldest guitar show, blending musicians, fans, collectors and celebrities together into one musical extravaganza. Visitors can buy, sell, trade, or just browse among the thousands upon thousands of new and vintage guitars, basses, amps, banjos, mandolins, straps and strings, effects pedals, keyboards, music memorabilia and more.

Yngwie Malmsteen To Play Fender Clinic at The Dallas International Guitar Festival PDF Print E-mail

yngwie.jpgYngwie Malmsteen will perform live at a Fender clinic and participate in an autograph session during the Dallas International Guitar Festival on Saturday, April 19, 2008 at Dallas Market Hall.

Yngwie Malmsteen is one of rock's premiere guitarists. When he was barely 20, Yngwie exploded onto the music scene with his jaw-dropping technique of lightning fast harmonic minor scalar riffing. His 1984 album, "Yngwie J. Malmsteen's Rising Force," established the style now known as neo-classical melodic rock.

Next up, you'll hear from high-end guitar maker Claudio Pagelli and will tour Vox's newest guitar line with a demo thrown in. Also, you'll get a glimpse at what's happening at the Warwick and Framus guitar expo. To take you out in today's session you'll see Greg Koch rip from the Fender stage.
